On April 29, 2010, AGC Partner Matthew M. Gorman presented an overview of California’s medical marijuana laws to the North Bay Division of the League of California Cities. While attracting attention nationwide, California’s medical marijuana laws can have particularly-localized effects, disproportionately impacting communities which are unprepared to address this dynamic area of law.
