Reflective of the diverse nature of AGC’s expanding practice, on February 14, 2012 AGC attorney Matthew Gorman was honored to serve as a featured speaker to a delegation of urban planners, government officials, and related land use professionals visiting the United States from the City of Lianyungang, China. Presenting an overview of the legal aspects of land use planning in California, Mr. Gorman’s presentation offered insight and contrast into the differences between urban development in the United States and in China. It is hoped that the information provided during this presentation will be helpful to these urban development professionals as they continue to meet the challenges and opportunities posed in that dynamic region.
