Roger A. Colvin, Senior Partner of the law firm Alvarez-Glasman & Colvin, will be providing Sexual Harassment Prevention & Avoidance Training for various public agencies over the next few months. Mr. Colvin will be conducting this training for the police agencies for the cities of Bell Gardens and West Covina. California law requires such training every two years.
Mr. Colvin’s presentation covers the legal definitions of sexual harassment and the consequences to public agencies in the event their employees engage in such inappropriate conduct. His training also addresses what public agencies must do to comply with California law. Mr. Colvin presents the information in a clear, concise, and practical manner.
Mr. Colvin is the managing partner of AGC’s Litigation Department. He has successfully defended public employees in sexual harassment lawsuits. Additionally, he has appeared at all levels of California and Federal courts successfully litigating police excessive force and related complex matters.
