On December 10, 2010, AGC attorneys Matthew Gorman and Anthony Marinaccio conducted a presentation for the Commercial Division of the North San Diego County Association of Realtors in Vista, California on the subject of local planning and entitlement issues entitled “Top 10 Points When Dealing with Cities and Counties.” The presentation highlights some important issues when attempting to apply for and receive entitlements from local governments that are important for real estate professionals, developers, and property owners. Further, it addresses issues related to local land use, public hearings, appeals procedures, and the Public Records Act.
