Mark Murray is a Senior Associate at Alvarez-Glasman & Colvin, where he provides legal counsel to public entities with a focus on municipal and education law. Serving as Assistant General Counsel to the Montebello Unified School District, Mr. Murray advises on a range of issues related to governance, civil rights, and compliance. His work reflects a commitment to public service, ensuring that the legal needs of municipalities and educational institutions are met with professionalism and precision.

With significant expertise in education law, Mr. Murray’s practice covers student rights, civil rights compliance, employee discipline, special education, and charter schools. He works directly with K-12 school districts and community colleges, providing practical legal solutions that address the complexities of public education. Mr. Murray’s experience includes serving as county counsel where he advised on teacher dismissals, civil rights complaints, public contracts, and open meetings.
