Marina L. Ramirez is a Senior Associate specializing in labor and employment law at Alvarez-Glasman & Colvin. In her capacities as Deputy City Attorney and Deputy General Counsel, she advises municipalities and other public agencies on multifaceted employment matters, provides expert guidance on disciplinary investigations, Skelly and discipline appeal hearings, and arbitrations,and addresses unfair practice charges and discrimination complaints filed with state and federal agencies.

Ms. Ramirez’s expertise spans into, but is not limited to, employee discipline and termination, leaves of absence, wage and hour disputes, workplace investigations, and policy development. She has extensive experience in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and labor law compliance, providing her clients with a thorough and strategic approach. Ms. Ramirez advises clients on evolving public health regulations and has more recently expanded her expertise into the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and labor and employment law,conducting in-depth research on AI applications in the workplace, advising clients on policy drafting, vendor contracting, and compliance to help mitigate risk while embracing technological advancements.
