Bruce T. Murray is a Senior Associate with Alvarez-Glasman & Colvin in the firm’s litigation practice group. He represents municipal entities in various civil litigation matters, including lawsuits involving civil rights claims, police, premises liability, property damage and various other tort claims in both state and federal court.
Prior to joining Alvarez-Glasman & Colvin, Mr. Murray was an employment attorney, representing workers and employees who had suffered wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, harassment, denial of family, medical and sick leave, and wage & hour violations. Mr. Murray has also litigated extensively in personal injury, representing victims of automobile accidents, premises liability and medical malpractice. Having represented many plaintiffs, Mr. Murray knows well how to effectively defend clients.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Murray was a newspaper journalist. Mr. Murray’s journalistic experience with public entities and municipal law includes editing and reporting for notable newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, the Orange County Register, the Whittier Daily News, the Santa Barbara Independent and newspapers in the Illinois, Missouri, and Louisiana.
