Nvair G. Deukmejian is an Associate Attorney at Alvarez-Glasman & Colvin handling a variety of public agency transactional matters. Mrs. Deukmejian advises and assists public agency and municipal clients in several different areas, such as Public Records Act requests, election matters, Commercial Cannabis Business Licensing and Regulations, drafting real estate agreements, ordinances, and resolutions. Mrs. Deukmejian is also actively involved in assisting with City Council matters including local election processes and the California Voting Rights Act.
Mrs. Deukmejian earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School where she concentrated on contract law and several other transactional practice areas. Mrs. Deukmejian was a Dean's Merit Scholar throughout her time at Southwestern Law School and earned a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in her class for Contracts.
While in law school, Mrs. Deukmejian served as a judicial intern to a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge. In addition, during her law school career, Mrs. Deukmejian served as a law clerk for both a private worker's compensation law firm and a solo practitioner engaged in a general practice of law. Mrs. Deukmejian earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine, and is fluent in Armenian.
